The Dermatology Sales Specialist is responsible for the promotion, sales, and continuous support of EPI Health products while achieving all territory sales goals in a compliant manner:

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, medical staff and health care professionals in offices, pharmacies and clinics to promote and support Company products
  • Provide approved messaging and product information to key decision makers and stakeholders within the office setting, outlining product features, benefits, and services.
  • Demonstrate effective territory management and selling competencies
  • Appropriately address customer needs and deliver on sales targets
  • Maintain high knowledge levels of product, competitor, and market information
  • Develop ongoing business plans for the territory which drive daily activities.
  • Utilize all company provided resources to assist in product sales.
  • Complete timely and accurate administrative tasks including call reporting, expense reporting, compliance submissions
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and follows EPI Health/NOVAN guidelines
  • Represent EPI Health/NOVAN. in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner

Requirements, minimum education level, and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 3+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales; dermatology preferred.
  • Experience and/or relationships in Dermatology a plus.
  • Documented successful performance record – National/regional awards and recognition.
  • Demonstrated advancement in field of sales through career progression.
  • Active Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to drive and produce results.
  • Demonstrated professional relationship building skills
  • Strong selling skills with a demonstrated ability to sell multiple market brands.
  • Aptitude to understand and translate scientific product information.
  • Experience and understanding of specialty pharmacy access model.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Demonstrated technical and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication people skills including, but not limited to listening, writing, facilitation.
  • Strong work ethic, highly motivated, well organized.

Physical Requirements, Work Environment and Travel:

Ability to frequently sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time

Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision & depth perception

Ability to perform moderate lifting, 15-30 pounds (per safety policy)

The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes as well as possible adverse weather conditions when traveling to clients and potential clients.

This position is 75% travel within the assigned territory.
